Multi-cultural, Multi-media Event in Brevard
A New Song International makes Feb. 17th tour stop at First United Methodist, Cocoa
(Cocoa, FL) February 7, 2011 – The First United Methodist Church at 825 Forrest Avenue in Cocoa will host Lift Your Eyes!, a free concert by A New Song International on Thursday, February 17th at 6:30 PM. The group of eight young adults from Chile and Romania is touring the United States for seven weeks performing international folk songs and praise music in a multi-media format. A New Song is a ministry of Friendship International, based in Colorado Springs, which works primarily in Central and Eastern Europe and Chile, South America. Special Events Chairperson, Pat Oliver thinks the public will enjoy the multi-cultural event.
“This is an extraordinary group that will be sharing about their countries and culture,” said Oliver. “We’re happy to help Friendship International celebrate their tenth anniversary by hosting this special event for the people of Brevard.”
