Orlando City Soccer Brings Professional Soccer to Central Florida

Orlando City Soccer Club (OCSC) is a premier professional soccer sports franchise that has drawn devoted fans and found success in just a short amount of time. The fans’ traditions are as much a part of the game as what happens on the field, enthusiasts dressed in head-to-toe purple, chant continuously and enthusiastically wave banners and flags throughout the game for the Lions. All home games in 2014 are played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney Resort. The complex will serve as a one-year temporary home prior to the Lions entering Major League Soccer. After just three years of success at the minor-league level and a fast-growing fan base, Orlando City Soccer Club was named Major League Soccer’s 21st franchise. This season is their final USL PRO season as the Lions prepare to enter Major League Soccer in 2015.The Lions pro team has won two regular season titles and one postseason championship. Outside of the pro squad, OCSC also has their own youth club, Orlando City Youth Soccer (OCYS) and a U23s team that participates in the PDL.For more information on the pro and youth clubs, visit OrlandoCitySoccer.com and OrlandoCityYouth.org.
