Dr. Mauricio J. Castellon is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has been in private practice in Melbourne for over 15 years. At Castellon Plastic Surgery Center, Dr. Castellon and his staff strive to provide the best quality care and outcomes for all of their patients by offering a full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical options for the face, breast and body in addition to non-surgical procedures and skin care solutions.
After successfully completing one of the most well respected plastic surgery training programs in the United States, Dr. Castellon earned his board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He was invited to be a fellow with the American College of Surgeons in 2004. Dr. Castellon was then inducted into the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the world’s most respected cosmetic surgery society, which is at the forefront of innovation in aesthetic plastic surgery.
Dr. Castellon trained in general, plastic and reconstructive surgery at Albany Medical Center in New York. His undergraduate study was at the University of Florida and he went on to receive his medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine.
He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Medical Association. Here in Brevard, Dr. Castellon serves as the Sector Chair of Plastic Surgery for Holmes Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Castellon has performed over 10,000 breast surgeries, 2,000 facial rejuvenation surgeries and 5,000 body-sculpting procedures. He is the“Surgeon of Choice” for complicated breast procedures and reconstructions. In-office procedures such as BOTOX, injectable fillers, CoolSculpting®, and laser treatments are routinely performed by Dr. Castellon and his clinical staff.
