Brunchin’ at Field Manor
My name is Alexis and I’m the event coordinator for a 501c3 named Field Manor located in Merritt Island. We are hosting a brunch themed fundraiser later this month and was wondering if you could put the information on your calendar? The brunch is June 29th, 11:00A-2:00P. Tickets are onsale to the general public, the cost ranges from $40-$50. The $40 ticket includes open access to our mimosa bar, catered brunch provided by Two Chicks and a Pot, and live entertainment. The $50 ticket includes that, and a private tour of the Field Manor home, which is a museum and national historic landmark. The event will also be photographed by The Hornes Photo, a local wedding photography duo.
A little bit about Field Manor – Field Manor Foundation operates Field Manor, a property listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1997. We have been open to the public for historic home and grove tours and field trips since late 2014, and regularly offer community events. Field Manor Foundation’s target initiatives revolve around agriculture and education. Since its inception, Field Manor Foundation completed a years-long restoration of the historic homestead structure dating to the 1880s–removing modern alterations and additions. The Foundation has also begun a multi-year project of replanting around 90% of the property’s 43 acre grove. Field Manor utilizes the historic homestead and surrounding groves to educate its guests about the significance of the Field family and their contributions to Florida citrus.
The money raised from this event will go to support our educational programs. We currently host local 4th grade classes for field trips, the money from this event will help us expand our reach to other schools, make restorations to artifacts on site, and buy more supplies to host more kids!
