Summer time and the jazz is playing as a popular Southwest Florida tradition continues.
The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club will again host its annual “SummerJazz on the Gulf” concert series. This will mark the 30th consecutive year of the fun, free concert series, which combines an appealing and diverse selection of jazz entertainment with beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico, stunning sunsets, cool breezes, and a relaxing atmosphere. Each concert is held on the family-owned resort’s scenic Watkins Lawn overlooking the Gulf. “SummerJazz on the Gulf” will take place one Saturday evening per month June-September, and each concert will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. This year’s concerts will be on Saturday, June 27; Saturday, July 18; Saturday, August 15; and Saturday, September 19.
The entertainment lineup is not yet set, but last year’s entertainment included performances by The Betty Fox Band, Late Night Brass, Pocket Change, and The Mud Flappers Band.
SummerJazz on the Gulf
Rich in family hospitality and tradition, The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club has resided on the Southwest coast in Naples since 1946. Patrons also can enjoy a specialty drink at the popular Sunset Beach Bar & Grill, named Naples’ “Best Beach Bar” by the Travel Channel. All concerts feature full bar service in several locations and a food concession with a selection of snack items and freshly grilled burgers, hot dogs, and grilled chicken sandwiches.
Offering an incredible setting on the pristine white-sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, the resort spent more than $45 million in impressive renovations and enhancements over the last few years, which included the renovation of its 319 guest rooms and suites, the addition of a new Gulf-view ballroom, the renovation and expansion of its waterfront restaurant HB’s on the Gulf and its popular The Sunset Beach Bar & Grill.
In addition, the resort features 1,000 feet of white-sand beach, an array of dining options, multiple bars, retail shops and beach rentals.
