Legend has it Buffalo wings were born in the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York, in 1964. Traditionally, fried and covered in sauce made of hot sauce and butter and served with celery and dressing, to cool the burn. So while Florida cannot lay claim to this wonderfully messy treat, there’s still plenty of places to enjoy them, especially during football season when wings are perfect for game day. Sit back, relax and enjoy the game.
